Brother said the 8300 Deere wouldn’t budge it & the 8520 had 4 flat tires. Nothing quite like being prepared when going to the field. That poor guy is going to have a long winter. I told him I had the 300 Farmall out today & it’s tires were all up I could bring it out. Lmao.

Brother said they got it out, apparently they put the 8430 on it & put that new tow to the test & jerked the hell out of it. I would of tried hooking 2 of those tractors together & if that didn’t work. They had a D6 Cat & Deere excavator sitting about a mile down the road. Hope they didn’t crack that rear end housing yanking on it.

My words were:

Raise the car on the hoist and remove the LF tire.

Guy would have a deer in the headlights look on him.

Door on the backside of the wheelhouse provides access to the battery tray.

Good morning!
Seen a few mired-down pieces of equipment in the river bottoms when I lived in North Missouri.
We had one guy that came to our dealership in Chillicothe wanting us to take our C-65 wrecker out to his place to winch out his combine as it was still sinking where it was stuck. We told him it wouldn't do much good to get it out to it as the wrecker had road tires. He said that he just needed us to get the wrecker there and he would pay winch time and whatever it took to clean it up plus a generous bonus amount. We showed up and he hooked his Steiger Tiger to it and drug the wrecker close enough to the combine to hook up to it and winch it out. The wrecker ended up with a few yards of good old black bottom land stuck to it.

Took me a few years to find the battery location for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Internet says it is under the passenger seat. Going on 6 years and still original battery. Got 80,000 miles on the first set of tires. Had to put air in them every week. I got all I could out of the tires.

If the battery plant is better, what is the process to purchase there? Hours of Op, address etc. Website?

No battery sales at the plant itself.

And old fellow has a tiny shop on 169, north side, just east of 29 & 169. Sells blemished batteries and odd stuff.

That’s where I got one for the Corvair. It takes a narrow 2x2x2 cell arrangement also used in some fork trucks.
