Worked on another storage cabinet for my better half yesterday. Got all the subassemblies made yesterday. Put it together today and trim it out.
She started on it last weekend. After watching her, off and on, for a couple of hours I stopped her and asked where her plans were at?
Looked at me like I had 2 heads.
We had previously bought 10 2x4's to build the frame with. After cutting and ruining 6 of them I decided it was time to take over.
Which is what I think she had planned all the time.

This made me laugh. At least she has you to bail her out.

Son did an amazing job building the gate frame. Each half is 5 foot tall x 5 1/2 feet long with 4 hinges each. Each frame weighs in excess of 100 lbs each.
4 bolts on each hinge mounted to 6x6 posts 3 1/2 feet in the ground with 180 pounds of concrete.
Just have to mount the cross ties and screw on the pickets.

I'm 50/50 on the weather turning. Got some painting, roofing and car work that could use some 70* days but probably too late for that. [emoji853]
