Good friend of mine got into pipe carving and I offered up some wood for him including hedge. Here is a hedge pipe that was on the fb page someone showed me.

Here is the pipe that he carved for his daughter and then dyed it! Very cool!

I am gonna give him a variety of stuff including corn cobs and see what he comes up with!
Is that hedge pipe sealed or still fresh wood? Because the stuff here turns deep red with age

There will be a chain grinder in the barn after this tax return comes... I love filing, but after filing the chains on the 372, 262, 261, 201t and the pole saw, I don't mind the short ones, but I have better things to do with my time (what little of it that's free) than filing chains into the morning... and there are still 2x 28's, 4x 20's and 1x 16" loop (all 3/8") to file yet... I don't know how y'all do it...

It's nice when you're done though, knowing everything is cleaned, sharpened, clutch bearings lubed and ready to go at a moment's notice. Not quite a PSP, but a bit OCD nonetheless.

Sounds like you need a grinder for sure. What are you going to get?

Worked on another storage cabinet for my better half yesterday. Got all the subassemblies made yesterday. Put it together today and trim it out.
She started on it last weekend. After watching her, off and on, for a couple of hours I stopped her and asked where her plans were at?
Looked at me like I had 2 heads.
We had previously bought 10 2x4's to build the frame with. After cutting and ruining 6 of them I decided it was time to take over.
Which is what I think she had planned all the time.

Morning midlanders!

Blondie locked the 'keys' (mine and hers) in the van last night.

Now the 'key' for a '15 Dodge is kind of a plug in and turn handle or plastic smart card holder. There are no actual key holes in any of the doors. So calling the local Safe and Lock crew is useless. Window design makes using a slim jim very difficult at best.

Prolly wait until Monday morning and enlist the local Mopar dealer to open it.[emoji37]

This all makes me think that if the battery goes dead the only option would be to smash a window.
