You needing a replacement or parts? Should be able to find a monoblock 5/2P valve to replace it most places around.
Parts would probably be cheaper, but replacement is likely more realistic.
My other problem is I don't know nothin about the different types of hydraulic fittings, so buying a valve with the correct thread will be difficult.
I'll take it in to bumper to bumper and ask, our local guy knows his stuff pretty well.

Don't overlook the local farm stores for parts. What is the issue with it?

Hedgerow: What is the secret handshake to get the top cover off?

Got the usual three screws out but the end by the rear handle acts like it’s glued down.

Either it has an air leak or the carb is not passing fuel. 🤬

Comp is 160 and fat spark.

Leaks like the Exxon Valdez.
Oly local farm store we have since Orschlin went away is Tractor Supply......but maybe.
Break it down and see if you can get replacement o-rings locally. If you can't find a certain size you can buy larger diameter buna o-rings with correct thickness and cut/glue to make replacements. I see that there is a hydraulic shop on Hollister that may be able to have the parts for you to buy and install yourself. Might give them a call. Broke down several tractor pistons and been able to get parts with place in Joplin just by matching up.

Probably could rebuild it, trouble is the linkage needs overhauled too...... it's a sloppy mess.
I think I'm going to assign the project to Tom, he likes solving difficulties and fixing stuff.

Gotta fold that intake boot in on itself then wiggle the *s-word out of it..
That cover seals into its base and is most likely just stuck..
It’s probably never been off.

Where at in Lee Summit. I make over that direction occasionally
I'll try to ask him tomorrow where he is working out of. I'm not sure how many different offices the conservation department have in that area. They have had him doing mowing and bush hogging so far and getting used to the area. I think it is around the James A. Reed area, he has to work labor day since it is the opening of dove for Missouri and it should be an eye opener for him.
