grumble grumble grumble.......

Look at it this way. You have AC, you have doors and windows that close and you are not rolling down dirt roads with dust so thick it looks like water running off your dash and when you blow your nose you can plant corn in what comes out.
I think the main problem is with the mirror. While your driving have one of the son’s remove that mirror. While you’re still driving ( preferably across the Theodosia Bridge) have your son put all of his arm and shoulder muscles into motivating said mirror beyond the side of the bridge and into the lake that the bridge crosses over. Since you’re going East anyway (to work on the house) it’s only about 15 more minutes to Gainesville, Mo where there just happens to be an Oreilly parts store and they will have a replacement mirror for the one that got lost in the lake. More than likely it will not have that annoying thermometer display built into it. If you need to know the temp outside, while your driving, it’s really simple. Just roll your window down and stick your arm out. If you pull your arm back in and it has a nice crunchy black texture to it you’ll know it too hot out and leave the window up while you enjoy the vehicle A/C.
Little piece of electrical tape is cheaper and does the same thing. Best thing is that is reversible when the weather is colder and you want to see the temps.

Not supposed to be as hot today. Watched lightning to the west in Oklahoma at 4 this morning hoping it will bring some moisture but looks like it stalled out north of Tulsa. May have to start dropping hay to the cows this week if this dryness continues.

Weather guessers are liars, 98° right now. Lots of stupid going on at work, more so than normal. Extra drivers meant that I was offered a day off and I am using it on hay cutter project. Hex shafts that drive the cutters had issues and two trips to parts store in Anderson later I am almost done. Not sure how I feel about the $400 in parts, at least it is tax write off for the farm. Got to finish torquing the main shaft and replace some skid plates to be done. Torque is 740 ft-lbs for this one. Using the 36", 3/4 drive I got just for this.

Most miserable saw starter ever. Small and deep housing, strange pulley(difficult) end termination and auto decomp to boot.

It took assistance from owner, third & fourth hands to overhaul it. 🤬
I've got a couple of those. Not exactly the best design for a starter, that's for sure. Nice little saws otherwise.

Kind of foggy out there this morning, I believe I will wait for things to clear up until heading yo the ethanol plant.

I was going to eliminate a yote or two this morning but can’t see but about 50 yards. Dogs have been exchanging insults with them since about midnight.
