To verify, upload a panoramic picture and see. 🤔

Also:
The PP bar was a random one Curt had hanging in his shop that happened to be the correct tail pattern.
Oh, and Carl, I might be persuaded to do some swapping for that CS81 power head if it passes your muster for mechanicals.

I’m haveing the same problem. 😑

Previously mentioned John Deere CS 81 (Eefco). Bar is 30-32 ish .404 x .058 gauge (🫩).

404 x 058 is some obsolete I think.
i bet that bar would look good on my 655 bp, you still got yours?

also seems 655bp will run large husky bars but the slot needs to be larger slightly. i noticed that has the square adjuster holes. those fit my 655 better than the large husky.

You've got me there, Thomas. It's supposed to be art. I remember that he brought these stools to the first GTG. The top was on a ball mount that pivoted in all directions. View attachment 467333
As far as art goes, I have seen worse. It is impressive that he can turn a log that big. It does look a little top heavy; it could be catastrophic around the wrong set of young boys, if you know what I mean.

grumble grumble grumble.......

I think the main problem is with the mirror. While your driving have one of the son’s remove that mirror. While you’re still driving ( preferably across the Theodosia Bridge) have your son put all of his arm and shoulder muscles into motivating said mirror beyond the side of the bridge and into the lake that the bridge crosses over. Since you’re going East anyway (to work on the house) it’s only about 15 more minutes to Gainesville, Mo where there just happens to be an Oreilly parts store and they will have a replacement mirror for the one that got lost in the lake. More than likely it will not have that annoying thermometer display built into it. If you need to know the temp outside, while your driving, it’s really simple. Just roll your window down and stick your arm out. If you pull your arm back in and it has a nice crunchy black texture to it you’ll know it too hot out and leave the window up while you enjoy the vehicle A/C.
