Tom's work?Wow. OCD?
It has been really spotty on rainfall & amounts. I would say within a couple miles of the house is the lowest totals up to last night.Keep the water up there, we're all full up....heard someone say this has been the wettest spring on record for our area.
Seems like you guys have missed out on a lot of the water so far?
That looks great, very tidy & professional looking.Good morning.
72/93.....just miserable.....glad we're working inside.
Tom wired up the panel yesterday. View attachment 462939View attachment 462940
Ended up with 10 stitches but otherwise a clean wound with no bone damage. Spent Sunday going to Columbus (1.5 hours), then to Beatrice, 2 hours, and back to Omaha, 1.5 hours, to deliver some fence that my dad had purchased for a rental property but sold the property before getting to the fence. 2 miles from home had a rear tire loose it's thread and blow. Minor damage to the truck and time for new tires as the old ones are 10-years-old and came with the rims when I purchased them.91f heading to 102f with plenty of wind. Started to unload some pine that I picked at the corner yesterday and tripped. So much for any profit on this load.View attachment 462633View attachment 462634View attachment 462635View attachment 462636View attachment 462637

If you got a place to put the straw inside till fall, advertise it on marketplace in the fall..Yea around here there are a lot of guys that won’t plant wheat. I had to for a rotation year for alfalfa. Gonna try to get some straw bales off of it also. The ole gleaner did pretty good but doesn’t much care for green stuff. If it was weed free it would be just perfect for the 47 acres on the farm.
So what percentage of the bales are yours now ???Just finished up the last of Levi’s square bales.
He wanted to square bale it, but you think he was around to pick em up?
Nope.. Lisa and I did it. I hate handling bales twice..
You should be good enough now to not have to sand so much. My arms have looked about like that the last couple of days as well except it is from the salt drying from my sweat..
I hate this stuff........what an incredibly stupid way to finish interiors.

ive heard many of those stories around here. that is just 7-10 miles from my house. ive seen pics of the old combines loaded onto the back of old bob truck and trucked over there to start the harvest. My son loved the summer he spent on the wheat harvest. Texas - Montana. I believe they even harvested some corn as well. They were based out of Scott City.
My brother is very good at it as well, and he tells me the same thing.......guess it proves I don't know what the heck I'm doing.im gonna have to come teach you what my father taught me. he did it professionally for years. you dont have to sand much if any when done right.
