What’s going on in OKC ??
The OKC Thunder won the NBA championship last night

OKC Thunder, Thunderstruck, THUNDER----THUNDER....Get it?

We don't have professional football, baseball, hockey, soccer, etc. It is kind of a big thing for OK. A couple years ago they were thinking of selling the team and moving it to another state.

Farming like it’s 1968 over here. 4020 and 347 square baling. And the ole gleaner F cutting wheat. Actually did an amazing job given the conditions.

I was surprised by all the wheat down in your neck of the woods, when we passed thru there.

Nothing wrong with any of that equipment if it works for the farm it’s on.

Yea around here there are a lot of guys that won’t plant wheat. I had to for a rotation year for alfalfa. Gonna try to get some straw bales off of it also. The ole gleaner did pretty good but doesn’t much care for green stuff. If it was weed free it would be just perfect for the 47 acres on the farm.

Back in 1976 I ran a Gleaner L combine. Learned how to put a 22 foot header through a 10 foot gate. (Very carefully) Started just over the Kansas Oklahoma line and took a bus home, to Kansas City, from Minot North Dakota. Best damn summer I ever spent.
