Neighbor to the north came in and planted beans in the wheat stubble while we were busy with the second field of straw bales..
He covered 120 acres in about 3 hours..
had a new 60’ planter and impressive ground speed.

They cover about 4000 acres in total.

City hadn’t made a move on it for over two weeks. [emoji57]

The 024 needed some run time anyway.

I expect the fire pit people will carry off the larger chunks. [emoji1696]

Finished the last field today at 2:00..

FWIW, a hydro tractor is the absolute shizz when square baling.. best and most consistent bales we’ve ever made..

Oh, and did I mention I started and finished this year’s straw with the same shear pin..

Didn’t wanna say anything till I was done..
Didn’t want to jinx it.
Congrats on the non-jinx thing working out.
On a completely different subject, thanks for leaving some water in those clouds as this area has scattered water falling out of em

I'll post some pix next time I'm
there. Looked on my fone and don't have any now. Barely made it back home. Normally a 2.5 hour trip turned into a 6.5 hour trip. Took 3 hours to change the fuel filter when it should have been a 5 min job. Had to get help. Don't know how it got so tight. It seemed to run fine for almost 5 miles after that. Then no power and 45 mph max again. Next spot to pull over I disconnected the LPR to set the ECU to a default. That helped enough to do 50 mph most of the way home. Need to pull the codes this afternoon. I'll be pissed if it ends up being the Cam Position Sensor. They are $150 and the one that's in there can't be a year old.
Hope there's a warranty on it if that's the case. My mechanic gets a whole Lotta parts replacement on labor only on the warranty coverage

Did he use an air seeder or was it an actual row unit planter ?
My brother has a 40’ air seeder for beans & you can cover a lot of ground in short order with it. It’s a controlled spill but seems to work well.

That’s a good deal that you got some beans in.

You got it all..

We’re in the dome effect again here..

It will take a major weather event to kick us out of it.

Appeared to be an air seeder.

Checked the guage and there was 1/4" dia dead bug that couldn't get out. No water. Peeps who'd been picking blueberries showed up doused at the gas station.
