Must be nice. Pics of cabin and area if you got them. I need a cabin getaway

I'll post some pix next time I'm there. Looked on my fone and don't have any now. Barely made it back home. Normally a 2.5 hour trip turned into a 6.5 hour trip. Took 3 hours to change the fuel filter when it should have been a 5 min job. Had to get help. Don't know how it got so tight. It seemed to run fine for almost 5 miles after that. Then no power and 45 mph max again. Next spot to pull over I disconnected the LPR to set the ECU to a default. That helped enough to do 50 mph most of the way home. Need to pull the codes this afternoon. I'll be pissed if it ends up being the Cam Position Sensor. They are $150 and the one that's in there can't be a year old.

@WoodAbuser

Ford 7.3 PowerStroke?

If so is the cps a genuine Ford Motorcraft?

Ifin it came from anyone else, I would bet money it’s defective….if that’s the code it throws.

Yes 2001 7.3. Put in the International one. Supposed to have a little better cam timing.

Well I see I screwed up my last quote. But yes we are moving to Fargo. Wife got a job offer from the VA there and early this week I went up for a job interview and had 4 offers that pay more sthan what I make now in fields I have no experience in. Not sure if that mean my job sucks or my job really sucks. Monday I'll break the news to them I'm gone in 2 weeks. I kind of want to tell them I'm getting a job across town just to see how much money they'll throw at me.

What does your wife do for the VA? How long has she been with VA? Does she work for VHA or VBA?

Morning midlanders!

Car thermometer shows 86 at 10:00 already.

It’s going to cook. [emoji90]
I did cook yesterday. Had a small charity cut. Most of you should know Paul. His mother in law had a tornado blow some trees over. I took 4 young teens from church yesterday; we left at 5am, drove 1.5 hours, and started cutting at 7am. Quit around 11:30-11:45. I never would have made it that long if I didn’t have the boys dragging and piling limbs. We were blessed with some wind or I wouldn’t have made it as long as I did. We got a lot done.

EDIT: That is my youngest, Isaac, on the far left. I know it has been awhile since you have seen him. He is taller than me now.

Good morning!
Looked over another nice one the other day. It was accurate down to the assembly line chalk marks on the firewall.

BTW that old AH-81 chainsaw in an earlier post is a Mono 82 that originally came out with a 20" bar.

Morning gentlemen! Only got to 74 yesterday, so I got some wood split. Today is only supposed to get to 73. Looks like we might have a week or 2 of no higher than low 90's. That's a lot better than this 100 degree nonsense in June.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Wow! I could never get myself to spend the kind of money on a car that a lot do, but that doesn't take away my appreciation for them. Beautiful car.
