Does it have the upgraded coil and adjustable carb?Well, I finally bought a Husky. I got a fella on here building me a ported 394, but I figured I might as well buy the big boy as well. I don't reckon they're gona get any cheaper. As a matter of fact, they jumped up 100 bucks, since I started looking at it a couple years ago. These things are hoss's for sure. Can't wait to get it in some wood.
It's the first Husky I've owned, or even ran. Also the biggest saw I will have run, once I run it. I just started it for a few minutes earlier today.

Black coil from a 395 IIRC is a good swap.I haven't had any time to look into it yet. I got it right before I had to head out yesterday. I reckon the carb is fixed jet. All I see is a L screw hole and a T, which is throttle, for idle, I presume. I'm going to check into the coil tomorrow and see which is in there. I got a dual port muffler coming for it.
What coil is the upgraded coil? I read through a few threads about them, but don't recall which color is which. There's a green one and a black one I think, if I remember right.
I have one with the 395 coil and one with a 272 coil I believe.

I have 3 of them.Yeah, 272 coil is the one I heard being used a bit. I'll have to look deeper into those mods and see about getting them done. The hard part is over, paying for the thing. They ain't cheap, or I'm a tightwad, or both. Now I can work my way through mods as I need to. Thanks.
