Looks as though the moisture is going to elude us again. Guessers are saying going to be east of us today, possibility of maybe an inch of snow tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Wind is blowing pretty good out of the East this morning.

Looks like it’s going to be a bit nippy this weekend.

Raining hard here,

Looks like south Iowa getting all kinds of pink and blue *s-word.
Must be East of us, dry at home when I left, got about 5 mile into MO & it’s been light/moderate rain all the way down here to @67L36Driver neighborhood. I always enjoy sitting in line for an hour or two next to the sewage plant… Maybe the rain will slow down some of the trucks hauling in & I can spend more time moving & less time sitting.

Moving down the road not moving 60’-70’ at a time.

You shouldn’t leave a saw running on pavement all day.

Someone tried to fix the fuel tank with bath tub calk.

It Stihl leaked.

Has a burnt up aftermarket top end to boot.

MS461 is just about a lost cause.

Got a tank ($65) and a top end ($75) on order.

The starter housing is dodgy but Stihl serviceable. Maybe. [emoji1696]

Went back and dug two more 201t out of his pile. Maybe make two good ones out of the three.

One has the carb solenoid. [emoji37] 201tc.

Well, I just solved one of the mysteries in my life. I got this 5.2 cube Craftsman/Poulan awhile back and put it back together and got it running. But it quit with no spark, just an occasional pop. Checked all connections at least twice to no avail. Finally found this bad wire.

Looks like the weather guessers are calling for 1”-2” of snow here today. I guess the state roads dept will be out slobbering up the roads with brine :BangHead: . I meet a state truck yesterday with a brine tank in that light rain.

Hopefully they have their goats in today down in @67L36Driver town. I was cruising down I-229 thought I saw a deer on the over pass, then thought it was a rather large dog but it was a big black goat wearing a collar.

Here’s an odd situation for you all to ponder..

Guy brings me a real clean 455 rancher to fix.
Not making any power..
starts fine, good comp, new fuel lines, and primer bulb..
It took to the tuning screwdriver, but never could get it to wind up as tight as it is capable of..
Seemed to be making mediocre power for its model, but after he ran it for a while, back to making sub 40cc type power.. sounds fat still, but gets even weaker if you try to lean it out a little..
Just makes less rpm if you fatten it up..

Suggestions??
