I cut some wood today, I thought I had a ‘Bonanza’ of Ponderosa but most of it ended up being punky.

My buddy dropped of some brats, bacon, sausage links, cookies, rib-eyes, t-bones & a 7# brisket.

My aunt dropped off a goodie package also:
homemade salsa, homemade sweet relish, peanut clusters, peanut brittle & what I thought was a gooseberry pie but it turns out it’s cherry. I like that also but gooseberry is my favorite.

With a cup of coffee. Really, after looking at the recipes for custard pie, a pumpkin pie is a custard style pie. I use heavy cream in mine instead of evaporated milk. Put a bit of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg in it to give it a bit more bite.
