Didn’t you fellas tryout a Deere awhile back? Did you not care for it or just wanting a different type machine.

The Deere run strong but I haven’t had or seen good luck with them. Working on one for a customer now that has major mechanical problems with only 3000 hrs. And they are small and noisy and a royal pain to work on.

I'll ask levi..
I don't think he knows what he's getting into..

If you figure 17-25k for a good used pre emission machine you’ll be close. Might find one cheaper with more hours or that needs a little work. I passed up a ctl80 high flow with ac 2800hrs earlier this year for 23k. That would be the one to get.

I don’t need those Carl but I have some air filters & pre-filters I am looking to give away
if anyone wants them.

The only thing left is the 7900 air filter

A mystery filter for a Dolmar, definitely not for a 5105. I have been informed it’s for a 7900, it’s still available

Howdy. If no one you know needs both those pre-filters, I'd be happy to send at least cost of shipping for one of them. My 440 is part of my 3 saw plan so I use it quite a bit. It would be nice have an extra pre-filter in the field. Thanks!

If I am not mistaken the later Takeuchi had Kubota power source.

I have always been a JD fan boy but both of my friends that run excavation companies each
had Deere track skid steer's and both of them got bought back by JD because of problems.
If I remember correctly that was around 2012-13 or so.

Neither of them will run Kubota because of issue with service and parts support from our
local dealer: Coleman Equipment sucks D*(k!
Although they both speak highly of these units if you have a good dealer in you area.

Needless to say the both run Cat track units now. Foley Equipment has Awesome parts
support and service.

I think Moparnuts recommendation is solid if you can get parts since you most
likely will do all your own repair work.

I think the Kubota machine is a good one but only the newer ones. But they are all electronic with def. I like my cat skid but it has things I don’t like that I liked better on the Takeuchi. Like pilot control joysticks. Big thing to me. Get better feedback to operator. I also don’t like the swing out door on the cat. Arms have to be up or down to open. I like the sliding door on the Takeuchi better. But only an issue if you get heat and air. The Takeuchi machine are just simple and tough. Just make sure it’s pre emission and all mechanical and you’ll be good.
