I have an 044 I can't pull over when it is cold, but I am a p-word. I have to hold the compression release down to have any hope. Rips my fingers off otherwise. If not, the compression release pops on the first rotation and BAM, my fingers are missing. Guess I need to hit the weights.
I had to switch to snowmobile handle on my big saws. Saves the fingers! Next is your shoulders. Big enough handle you can wear gloves. The snow blower handles are to weak.

Evening Fellers! I'm glad that I finally got off of my a$$ and replaced both of the seals (door and glass) on the T-6 two days ago. The glas seal was shot and the door seal was compromised allowing far too much air into the fire.

Now I have full control again and it's burning nicely. That glass seal is a PITA to deal with though. you need 4 hands and 35 fingers to hold the angle of the dangle correct before replacing the glass retainer brackets.

Hopefully I'll be starting on the neighbor's Red Oak Tomorrow so I can get to a paying removal for a coworker soon. The holidays and unexpected/ill-timed bills are going to kill me...:2guns:

Drug out one of my Dayton/Poulan 245a's yesterday. Carb not acting right and needs clutch spring(s).

Expecting the garden variety Fairbanks

Youngest son has been working on a project for daughter all summer. She put up (or WE put up) a privacy fence. She wanted a 12 foot double gate too.
Son has been building the gate frame, off and on, for 3 months. Made hinges too. Was working on it last Sunday, down to about 8 welds left.
Now, this has all been done with an 8 year old 90 amp flux core Harbor Freight welder. 2x2 3/16 wall square tube. Finally got to where it wouldn't get ANY penetration.
Son got mad. That's all I'll say.
Picked up a new 170 amp flux wire welder this evening.
Works a lot better.

Cut on the pecans and hackberry for a few hours today. Didn't get much done for talking to the land owner,,,,good conversation trumps work any day. Good thing he is in no hurry to get it cleaned up. Took about a truck load of the small limbs to a friend for cooking. Picked up Sam from school, he and I loaded 2 face cord for delivery, picked up Isaac from school and delivered the wood. Loaded a half face cord and delivered it too.
