Will do. How nasty or big? The worst I have done was at Hedgerows last December. That dead dry elm looked straight but was full of knots.
Any decent sized multi stem chunks of Oak, Piss Elm, Hedge or Pine/Cedar would work great. Realistically aything that would have given the HD model a hard time.

What's the lowest temp that anybody has gone out, personally, to the woods to cut firewood?
Myself -10 F.

I have no intention on cutting at -10º. The only people I would help out at that temp are all right here; otherwise, I am in the house by the fire.

I love cold weather saw seems to be happier too but since I dont burn wood:( you wont find me out there unless its storm damage.

I have an 044 I can't pull over when it is cold, but I am a p-word. I have to hold the compression release down to have any hope. Rips my fingers off otherwise. If not, the compression release pops on the first rotation and BAM, my fingers are missing. Guess I need to hit the weights.

Get in your letter or number size twist drill assortment and enlarge the bleed port(s) a tiny bit at a time.

Only way this geezer could start the MS880 I rebuilt.

I'll bet by the time it makes it to Minnesota, turns around, and comes back, it won't be nearly as friendly as when it left here.

Yes, please close the freakin' door.

And, no it won't.[emoji21]

Morning midlanders!

Don't be carrying any sheets of plywood today.

Any more I won't cut at those temps, unless it's with friends from here.
The -10 was about 35 years ago. Just started heating with wood at that time.

I met a guy in a driving a super car with a pitch fork for a hood emblem,
Maserati. .... he had a few other high end cars and likes hot rods. And a 02 ferrari.
He saw some of my work, gave me his card and told me to call him.
He has a nice shop and projects
But no one to work on them.
No sure deal but maybe I can do
A little hot rod wor for him this winter
