Has anyone here used a vise lacer to fix a round baler belt? I am wondering if I get the 7" vise lacer which will do a 4" belt. Can I lace 4 inches at a time to lace a wider belt. Say 12" wide lace. Changing out the Kewanee elevator to a belt. Got a length of 120ft of belt for fee. Hoping a belt will not make as much noise.
I have a genuine lacer Doug, how thick is the belt?

Regarding tractors, I just sold an L3600 similar to above for $11.5k with 1400 hours. Great tractor for getting around in tight places, but the bucket is a bit small if you're filling it with rounds and hauling them any distance. Like any bucket, the top overhangs the bottom corner so far that once it's half full, your next row of rounds hits the top of the bucket by 10 or 12". And the bottom of the bucket isn't big enough to slide your bottom row of wood out that far if your cutting 20" wood. But for moving stuff around to get to the trees and pulling them out to an open area, they're really good for that . It's also possible to find one with a quick attach bobcat style loader bucket. Get a grapple for that and an L3600 would carry a 24" ash log 12' long all day
