What's wrong with the cab?
Just a little crude. What's wrong with the cab?
We got you shower. Of rain that is.Wheat is in..
Not sure if it needs rain or not..
Maybe a tenth or so would work.
All of the 4x55 Deere's are Waterloos; they were the pinnacle of Deeres.Had a lot of trouble with electronic issues on a 55's. I know they were mannheims, but seeing 55 still makes me cringe. The 7000 & 7010s are solid the 20's are alright. 7030 & newer I want no part of.

Actually not all, from 4255-4955 were anything smaller was a cross between Dubuque and German

I have heard that some of the real early 4055 used a Saran engine, the 359T.
Correct.I guess I'm a little confused; 4055, 4255, 4455, 4655, 4855, 4955, and 4960 are all Waterloo tractors. I have heard that some of the real early 4055 used a Saran engine, the 359T.
Deere did market a 4240S and 4440S for export at about the same time. They were a Waterloo design that was put together in the Mannheim factory to European standards.
Wasn't there some 3X55 also? The 2955 I did the transmission on was a Mannheim tractor with a Dubuque motor

Oh yeah, and John Deere made a 2 cylinder tractor.

I remember the Mansfield charity cut. Alan was pulling logs with a two popper. Watched him come out of the woods, more than once, with the front wheels a foot off the ground. 30, 40, 50 yards that way.Putt.....putt.....putt!!! Them's my babies.
