It's been a mad dash to get the beans off, and wheat in..
I had to enlist Levi to get on his favorite tractor and get dirt worked while we were loading up the planter, rolling the field, and moving the combine to the last fields up north.
He loves that old Case..
It's a brute, even if it is a little crude.
Pulls a 25' disc no problem.

23 or 2594? I thought you were a Deere man?

Yea they have a nice cab too. What happened to the 4440, that's the holly grail of John Deere's next to a 4020 of course

It had a hard 12,000 hours on it..
Lol
BIL's 4020 is still in use.

The other BIL has a 4010, and 4320.

Loves the 4320, but cusses the 4010.

I do have a soft spot for the 9 and 1066 tractors.
Sans the cabs of course. Just a canopy for me. The cabs were awful, just sorry.

Don't blame him, 4320's are pretty good tractors. I never cared for 4010's/4020's unless they were on auger duty. They all had real nice power steering unless you had to work on that dam steering motor/valve

Cabs suck very much! My brother and I always said 66 series were engineered for one reason and that was tractor pulling! I prefer the 06/56 series the best. Those 66's with cabs are horrible to work on!

Yea they are just hope you got somebody down there knows how to work on them. I got a friend that bought 2 newer MF's and loved them till he had to have them worked on then he didn't love them so much when it was in the shop for 6 months because the dealer couldn't figure it out

They're all that way sadly. Saw a brand new 6xxxr with the rear windshield wiper stuck on. Took a few hours for them to figure that one out.

55 series is my favorite of the deere's I've run, but someone told me the 7000 were pretty solid.
4255 was a gem.
So was the 2955.

Had a lot of trouble with electronic issues on a 55's. I know they were mannheims, but seeing 55 still makes me cringe. The 7000 & 7010s are solid the 20's are alright. 7030 & newer I want no part of.

I prefer operating the 7&8000 series Deere's with the square cabs versus the older ones with the post in the middle of the windshield
