What type of oak is this? It has a wavy grain when it breaks as can be seen in the chunk.
Is the wavy grain in all this variety or what causes it and how can you tell before it chunks off.

That is a 260 on the limb and it is at least 15' from the trunk

Wavy is more a by product of growing conditions than variety.

You appear to have a nice Pin oak there.

I call it pin oak. Cousin of red oak. Lots of branches and fast growing.

I thought pin oak had pointed leaves. Looks more burr oak to me. But what do I know!

Sounds like it has spark. Probably fuel Filter or collapsing fuel line. But I've never worked on a 009. Mike @Homelite410 Luvs that brand.

Carb inlet screen has picked up some trash? Rubber fuel line sucked flat?

At any rate, clean up the supply side to the carb.
