These weren’t full sized. Normally I limit hanging critters to 1 at a time, but these were never gonna hit 250 lbs, and Ely was sick and tired of feeding em. I think he got a couple runts.

Yep, runts are the pits.
We've begun culling em at a young age.... either dirt naps or just give em away free, they ruin the economics of the whole operation.... unfortunately.

The one “might” have been 150-175 range, but the other never even hit the 125 mark.
At least the bigger one had some fat on its back.

Last night the guessers were saying snow after 9:00pm, no snow.

Earlier this morning they claimed snow after 10:00am, no snow yet ..

Now they are claiming snow after 1:00pm with 4”-6” accumulation, maybe they will be wrong again.

Hit here just about 10 minutes ago. Temps are dropping about a degree every 5 minutes now. Snow and sleet mix.

Might do a rethink, just let the dog out for her morning bathroom break and was seeing small fine flakes and shining drops on the tree limbs. Looks like it is just at that temperature to start to be messy.

1/4" of ice 3/8" snow on top and wally world has customer after 4 when more snow is predicked. Weather took out my phone tower so to com had to get away.

Eldest daughter that lives south Lees Summit said had some ice & some 2’ drifts but her reports aren’t credible.

She texted me last Monday to ask me what the weather was going to be like in KC this weekend…

I told her I didn’t really know because I live 125 miles north …

I inquired about their plans in case of a power outage. Her reply was that they would just flip the switch on the t-stat from electric to gas …
