Buddy rushed me out ( he's a bb, bald blind) so tiny flakes ,magnified by the shape of his head, seemed troublesome to him for my 41 mile trip. Nada on ground-road so far. 60% chance at 6a.m. they say to 95% 8-10 a.m. back down to 40% after3:30 til 6. Bet money it is over guessed. Time will tell

You lucky bastages, our lawns and fields are bare. The frost is going to go deep this year. All we're getting is the lump of coal coldness. And what's this feels like number of -19f suppose to really indicate, when they claim it's -6f?

I guess if I want to continue to give the furnace a siesta, the steptop will be liken 2 sticks instead of 1 when I get ready for a several hour nap.

I got up and moved to replenish the ember producing warmth,
it's my version of the seasonal yule log shows.

Might do a rethink, just let the dog out for her morning bathroom break and was seeing small fine flakes and shining drops on the tree limbs. Looks like it is just at that temperature to start to be messy.

We got a bit of rain and it’s still drizzling.
Bout .25” in the rain gauge.

I just dumped it out and brought it it in the house.. it’s done for this season.

Red and white oak mostly, with a bit of popular thrown in from time to time. It's what readily available.

It is 47 right now and going down. According the weather savants, we won't see this temp again for 11 days. Fortunately, no ice in the forecast, which means we probably need to prepare for icepocalypse.

What is it intended to be? A house? A shop? A house on top of a garage? Whatever you want it to be?

It is very nice; too nice to be a shop; but it might be a she-shed or a doll house for people with enough money. Do you finish something like this out?

What's a plan?...lol

Left to my own devices, I'd probably wing it like most things we build, but with a bit more "in my head planning" than usual.

Now that Tom is getting more into the management/planning side of things....we'd definitely come up with a thorough plan.
He's been teaching himself to use a free online drafting program, so that would be used.
