Eldest daughter that lives south Lees Summit said had some ice & some 2’ drifts but her reports aren’t credible.

She texted me last Monday to ask me what the weather was going to be like in KC this weekend…

I told her I didn’t really know because I live 125 miles north …

I inquired about their plans in case of a power outage. Her reply was that they would just flip the switch on the t-stat from electric to gas …

I had no words …
AKA…

“Freeze”..

A fella down in Stanberry, MO reported around 14” of snow.
In January 82 had cold air along I 44. Warn wet air came in contact with. St. Louis airport said 20" next day, on the sidewalk out front of house had 24". Guessers 6 p.m. guesser said we'd get 4-6" 10 oclock they, with emotional upheaval, stated we don't know what we'll get as a total lol

Any of you guys have first hand experience with the cheap LED’s from Amazon?

Brands like:

Auxbeam, Nilight, Rough Country?

Normally I use Rigid or Baja Design LED’s but this is for a budget build with very limited use.

If you can enlighten me these cheap ones I would greatly appreciate your results.

I used some Nilight stuff for tractor and stock trailer. So far they do a good job and haven't died yet.

Didn't make hush puppies to go along with crappie, just hot rolls and french fries. Currently 14° and wind still howling. Woke me up several times during the night. Got the stove loaded and waiting for it to start heating good. Looks to be very little white stuff outside from the little I saw when I poked my head out to get wood for the stove. Don't know what the roads are like but it seems that what traffic is going by is not running much slower than normal, but that doesn't mean anything out here. Been a lot of cars in the ditch in front of the house over the last few years.

I only have experience with some LED lites I used in my headache rack on my superduty.

"Red Hound Auto"

I used this brand for the backup lites and they only lasted a few months. The amber and red ones I got at the same time that were another brand are still going strong.

So what do they plan to do about all that?

People gotta go to work and stuff in the morning..
County hasn't been up my road yet. I have 2 3 foot drifts around my work truck. It's going to take me a couple hrs or more to getting cleaned up to get to the road.
