Happy Sunday y'all.
I just saw a post on FB by some guy who's taking a chainsaw training class.lol I thought it was a joke but after looking at the post and the replies it appears to be a serious post. I guess it's not hard to believe that there's people that ignorant in this day and age. I taught my myself to use a saw with an Eager Beaver when I was 14. The only injuries I've sustained are scratches and punctures from Osage thorns. Anyway, the thought of classes to operate a saw really struck me as odd.
Nephew works for conservation department and had to go to a mandatory chainsaw class.
Thank you for breakfast. You do a fantastic job at cooking on sight. I don't thank you enough...
Not a problem. I enjoy my food as you can well see. I fix lunch at my parents every Sunday that I can, get in what time there that is available. Thought it was funny about the first thing I was asked about was cinnamon rolls. I should have baked some cookies to go with the coffee.

We did. I am still pulling chips out of my ear thanks to Matt, and I had ear plugs in...
By the way, the 562 ran most of the day with a cracked primer bulb.
So if anyone was wondering how long a primer bulb on a 562 can last, seems about 9 years.
As I have never replaced it. Always wondered when it would finally *s-word the bed.

Good morning guys and gals. It's going to be a long morning as I should try to skip coffee this morning, darn annual today.
I’ll have an extra cup in honor of your sacrifice.

I would think going without the nectar would have the potential create more chaos than going ahead with swilling a cup of the brew.

Good morning y'all. It seems that property owners are realizing more and more that hedge is a cash crop. I'm going to have to go knocking on doors I guess. I always hate to bother people like that but I need wood for my mom for the upcoming winters.

Weed to me. If you were closer I'd load you up.

The new nectar brewing machine showed up today.

Thinking this will alleviate the burnt coffee issues that seem to be occurring recently here.

Looks rather fancy! Does that Kraft have some kind of warming device?

I see it's a holding vessel, let us know how long it keeps the nectars HOT will ya !

No hot plate with this one, the carafe is stainless outside with a glass liner on the inside.

The reports I have read say it will keep the brew hot for over an hour & warm for several hours. It came with a pour thru cap & a stopper to seal it up for extended periods of sitting.

The Bunn does a good job but …

My wife routinely gets up anywhere from 2:00am - 4:00am & brews a pot of coffee, then drinks about 1/2 of it & goes back to bed. so

The remainder may sit on the hot plate & scorch for hours,

It’s also not unusual for me to walk in & smell burnt coffee or smell something hot if I pop into the house during the day or early evening. Only to find a 1/4 pot or less of sludge or even an empty pot with scorched remains in it still. She very seldom ever turns the beast off when she leaves, kind of like lights but I digress.

As stated earlier the new brewer has no hot plate & the power shuts off 12 minutes after brewing. Great coffee & other problem is solved as well.

I like that idea for a coffee maker...

I made another pot of coffee around 9:30 this morning, had one cup & left arrived back home around 3:00pm, poured out a cup to check it out & it was still pretty warm. It wasn’t steaming but was about perfect for drinking in my opinion. It may have stayed hotter it Inad put the travel plug in the carafe instead of leaving the brewing pour thru cap in.

Might try preheating with some hot water before you brew. Much like you do with an insulated thermos.
