Carved the pin hog into 2/8” slabs and a 10” slab.
Milled up one of em and ended up with 12/ 2x10’s
Gotta finish the other 2 8’s today.

I don’t know if it would be good, but it sure as hell would add 2000 pounds to the trailer weight.

Haven't been out yet. I'll do my check as I feed the bulls a couple cans of range cubes and then head to my parents to get ready for lunch. We will do our family thing today so tomorrow will be a work day around the house again.

We had a bit of drama but no damage and the power stayed on.
They kept sending out tornado warnings until about 4:45 this morning.

After sawing out in the weather for upwards of 3 decades I'm very happy to have a roof over my mill.

There are not very many Camp Meetings anymore, but we have been very blessed so far at this one. Tomorrow afternoon we are going to have crosscut saw contest as well. I need to find the proper tools for sharpening one.

Been thinking about getting a smoker and try my hand at it. Any suggestions on type of smoker?
I found a charcoal one at Lowe’s in my price range.

Got over 2" very heavy at 1st 6 hours ago, light rain is stihl falling. Radar last night showed heavy rain from near the western state line most of the way to Rolla, heading east. More vertical distance than horizontal

Now radar shows storm from a bit east of Rolla over to Vincenne Indiana. It projects that before noon St. Louis will clear so the Sunday night game with the cubs can begin on time. Unless they're wrong again.
