I’d have to eliminate a couple dozen or more coyotes before I turned any little oinkers out.

I would most likely have to have a educational coarse with my lab as well.

Now my simple math says $40 x 50 small pigs turns into $2k if your feed cost is less there may be some financial benefits in spite of all the aggravation of caring for that size o herd

They're AGH/Kune Kune mix, with a few % of modern landrace in some of em, so smaller lard-type.
Been running a Craigslist ad for 3 weeks @ $50 ea. with zero interest so far, probably going to try putting up ads on the local bulletin boards.
Worse case scenario we'll just eat em all.

Two years ago we could have gotten $100 a pop in very short order.

I thought 50 was a fair price, Tom cuts all the boars, so that's covered.

Yeah, the food-security panic is died down.....for now anyways.
Don't really matter to me if nobody wants em because pigs are made outta bacon, ham, & sausage.

Got back home about 5:30am. Went to bed till 8:00. Took a 2 hour nap at 11:30.
Been working on the Expedition this afternoon getting ready to swap engines in it. Hope to have that done by Wednesday.
