I have to learn to drive again, the engine guy said keep it under 1500rpm & below 40# boost for 50k.

I have been driving a 9 speed with a cummins & 60 series Detroit with a 10 speed so its like learning all over again.

That seems like a lot of boost for an engine that big,.
Seems like they should be under 20 pounds.

With the twins it would hit 50-55 if pulling under heavy a heavy load. If I remember correctly the detriot gets up to 50. 20 barely gets the turbos engaged. I would think 45 boost would be about max on this single now where its set.

I would think after the surgery that engine should easily handle 60-65 pounds of boost.
And depending on the recalibration 😁 of the ecm 500+ hp without breaking a sweat!
The Dr. said it should put out 650hp, it is not lacking in the powah department. When it was bought it was set to 475, when the ecm crapped out 2-3 years it got set @ 550.

Welp, the beans decided to relinquish some moisture after dinner. BUT Dads combine is still dripping after the fire department was out for a visit & dumped about 1500 gallon on/in it. Looks like an electrical fire under tge cab, its not a total loss & nobody was hurt.

I think i got it wowed down before it got too carried away on things.

My brother is still running so when we got to the coop to finish up some contract beans some a-hole tried to drive off with the scalehouse probe still in their trailer. That was a chitshow show stopper there.

The weather dweebs said winds 8-10mph with gusts to 20mph this evening & overnight so we were thinking a long night. There isn’t a skiff of air moving & the moisture is setting in...

Good times
