As much as I like the cooler temps, we need this week of hot and dry to get the rest of the corn out of the field and finish those fat bean pods out there before we get a frost..

And after 6+" of rain last week, them top pods are FAT!!

We're off to do more cutting today.

My youngest brother said Dad plunged into some corn but it was 18.5% so he started running some beans yesterday & they were testing 11.3%. I guess the circus is getting ready to start…

Good morning fellas. Sounds like we should be getting back to partial sunshine this afternoon. It's needed as the grass got long quick and needs cutting, funny what a couple of days of rain events will do.

Morning.
Sposta be 89 today, it's pea soup foggy now, going to be muggy.
Gotta make sawdust.
I have set aside this weekend to making sawdust.

Decided to cut 6x6 posts for the new steer pen vs pipe.

Not cuz it’s better, but cuz I got logs and tar..
For free...

And a saw mill...
