Well, after a lot of thought and spending last Monday in the ER, again, my wife and I have decided it’s time to retire. I was finally able to get signed up, online, for my S.S. last Sunday. About a 3-4 month process. Told my boss that the Friday after January 20th will be my last day. I’ve worked this same building for twenty years on the 20th of January. I’ll still do work of some kind. Maybe repair small engines on the side. Who knows?
We’ve decided to stay at the house since it’s basically a new house now. But at least we’ll be able to go down to the Stamp more often.
Everybody get to rowing.

Turned out pretty decent.

Sucks about the wheat prices..
I hate big markets....it makes us little guys hurt, and there's little to nothing we can do about it.

They had a bumper crop this year.. thus the weak export market.

I'm getting cabin fever waiting for the hot to go away.

The alleged rain Wednesday & Thursday is going to be okay?

Currently it's cooled down to 93 degrees. Unloaded the pickup and almost filled two 330-gallon totes, there was a little in one of them before. Looks like fall may show up mid-week so this could be the end of the heat but will wait to see.
