Preliminary it looks to be a 1950.
Not bad shape for 72 years old.
Found the serial number. Right in plain site.
It’s a ‘51.
I would like to have had an 8N but around here they are pricey. And usually are projects.
The plan for this one, besides tinkering with, is to provide income at the stamp, once we get down there. At least plowing gardens. Maybe some brush hogging.

Holy Cow a ripping storm just went through. Lots of limbs down and blocking streets here at my sons house. Managed to get out enough to go over and check my house because I’ve got some BIG trees. Everything still standing, just a few limbs down but house and shop appear ok.

Good morning folks. We had a nice cool off overnight. 55 going to 84 expected today.

Looks like you fellas down south are getting some rain. Hopefully Tim & Mark can catch some rains this week also.
I'll second that return of the rain for all the dry areas. Hope Mark @hoskvarna has gotten some in the last couple of weeks.

We had 6ish weeks earlier this year of being parched dusty dry. Lately we've been getting a couple of almost back to back showers about every 7-10 days. Barely enuf that some stuffs have greened back up, but there is much bush and tree stress yet. Have seen many trees that split or dropped larger sections. And we haven't had but 1 larger wind storm. 🤞that those storms stay away.

Delivered the 6x6's and brought home a load of logs they had saved for me.....blow downs from the last storm we had.

A few of them are just bug food......but there are 3 or 4 pretty good ones on there.... and it was free, so I can live with that.

We had a pretty good soaker storm last night, complete with tornado warnings.
I think we got 1/2 to 3/4 inch..... it's a soggy humid bugger out there anyway.

Half an inch of rain and this old hollow walnut didn't make it any longer. Power out several places northwest this morning but not here. Got a few limbs down but nothing tore up. Tree needed to come down anyway so now it will be fire wood.
