I cannot see it's head very well, but it does not appear to be venomous.

Looks to be a Copperhead, I think.
After some research I don’t think it’s a copperhead.
I’ve been in that booth. Corner Cafe is good place to eat.
Maybe a rat snake, but I'm thinking it looks most like a northern water snake.
Timber rattlers are rat eaters also. Endangered and have seen 2 over near the eastern edge of national forest in Iron County. Down below county line of Washington and Iron counties. Pictures don't do justice to the brightness and contrast of the yellow, black and white (may be more, memory not any better) after skin is shed
Yup, and there's going to be probably 6 or 7 more loads....a bunch of post oak, more hickory & ash for firewood, and some real nice cedar too.
