Took my lovely wife for a Sunday drive yesterday..... drove past the old Hodgson mill.

Cleaning on the Mac 250, Further inspection of the newest to me 10-10, and if time permits look into the oil leak that the Solo 667 has.

And then there will be some grilling going on. Steaks and a rack of ribs.

Finally some peace & quiet here at last or at least I thought there would be. Just got the last group of kids & grandkids booted out & was cleaning up a bit when I started getting complaints of a poorly maintained cemetery in our township… So I am off to check out the cemetery. The guy mowing it is a fellow trustee & was the biggest PIA about it before he became a trustee so it should be interesting.

I have a Polaris Ranger.

I love my Ranger.

I hate my Ranger.

They are a very nimble and capable machine but for the cost they could have better quality parts.

Example: the pot metal thin construction of the rod ends on the gas charged assist strut for the dump bed.

So…fire up the mill and make a decent replacement out of scrap steel.
