Morning fellas. With the heat we are getting some of those brief rain showers. Had one yesterday and another overnite, but both were not enuf to get the wafer in my rain gauge to float. But at least the dust and pollen is knocked down for the time being. Could see streams of yellow all over the place.

What kind of wood is that in the middle? I see pine on the right and oak on the left....I think. The bark resembles persimmon, but the wood color is off.

Yup, pine and oak... the other I'm pretty sure is persimmon.....but I ain't no expert on such things.
The wood is very pale almost white, but it's got a hint of yellow.

Morning fellas.

Woke up to more rain this morning (not complaining one bit). We had .40" when I woke up and it's been a nice steady rain since and is supposed to last up until this evening. 50% chance for a couple hours tomorrow, then we get a little break. These past couple rains have covered quite a bit of area and haven't been quite as spotty as usual. It's also unusually cool, compared to normal.

I guess I might not have to change my name to KS Dustman after all.

.03" last night with 88f today so plenty of humidity. Not much done other than unloading the pickup to the backyard.
