Hopefully this weeks guessed at moisture comes thru for you.
The ISU climatologist says that the 89 year drought cycle is due in 2025 so we have that to look forward too.

I certainly understand that feeling. In April, into the first part of May, it was so dry here, people didn't even know if they were gonna be able to plant crops and cattle were getting put onto some shabby looking pastures.

Hopefully you get some moisture where you are soon. Droughts are no fun.

Very dry here as well. I have held off on putting garden plants in and have just up sized pot them. However yesterday I decided to till the garden again, went as deep as there was good soil, turned out
good.
I will plant what I can in the heat later today.

Guys are mowing hay everywhere, so there’s that nature bait..

We have kicked out about 700 big bales so far & Chase started mowing some pastures today. I am already tired of hauling hay.

Haying is kind of like cutting firewood. I like the felling, bucking & splitting but the stacking sucks. The mowing, raking & baling isn’t bad but the hauling blows.
