I used to use smaller Mepps for crappie but never had much luck using them for bass. I have seen several channel & blue cats caught on them.

We use them in the clearer water ponds..

Very seasonal, and they don’t work in the big lakes.. stained water is good for the smaller spinner baits..

Just a FYI any leftover foam/sponge pieces work great as air filters.
