Orange bottle at 50:1, I ran that for years & had no issues. I figured he was running that silver bottle Ultra crap they are peddling.

I am only speculating here: I am thinking that it sits idling for too long or he is not running it long enough under load to heat things up & burn that crap out.

Once I got that screen cleaned up, it popped right off & seemed to have nice acceleration & plenty of power (for a 170).

I just take them out completely. They are nothing but trouble no matter what oil do you use.

Good afternoon y'all. Been absent here for a month or 3 so I hope all is well with everyone. Currently living at my folks so I can give my dad the care needed while he recovers from pneumonia. Heard of legionairs(spelling??)? Very uncommon these days but still deadly. He's 78 so..... Long road to wellness. We spent a month in a rehab facility. There were times when i wondered if he would make it. All in all, I'd say we're blessed!

I sure can't wait to go play with some chainsaws!!!

The 028 turned out to be the top AV mount thrashed out and was allowing the plug wire to rub and short intermittently when prying on it..
