That's how I felt about the weather today as well...

Good afternoon y'all. Been absent here for a month or 3 so I hope all is well with everyone. Currently living at my folks so I can give my dad the care needed while he recovers from pneumonia. Heard of legionairs(spelling??)? Very uncommon these days but still deadly. He's 78 so..... Long road to wellness. We spent a month in a rehab facility. There were times when i wondered if he would make it. All in all, I'd say we're blessed!
I sure can't wait to go play with some chainsaws!!!
There are remnants of most viruses around. Legionairs came from untreated water in a cooling tower, that infected a lot of legionairs at a convention. Once in awhile swine flu is determined to be the trouble , for example.Good afternoon y'all. Been absent here for a month or 3 so I hope all is well with everyone. Fuel issue,.Good morning y'all.
Kinda dreary here this morning, but it's sposta get better later on.
I've got a husky 242 here that's not right.... It pops on choke, but then when I un-choke it it tries to run for about 1/2 second and dies....
Ideas?
It was the L screw...Fuel issue,.
Check low side carb adjustment.
Check fuel line condition,
This is all assuming it has enough compression to idle..
One strike!
Yup..One strike!
Right now I have a 260 pro that will start and run at open throttle just fine.. even makes good power..There’s a hundred things that can go sideways in a fuel issue..
Yessir it was quite a zap!Yup..
Lightning for sure.
Takes the easiest path and blows the sap right out from under the bark..
The sap must have been running good.
Check the air Pre- filter which is right beside the recoil. Both my 42 Special and 242 were plugged tight, and were hard to tune until it was cleaned out. It's just a nylon mesh behind that cover, and probably full of saw cake.
