Ok. Finally found the fishing stuff you all were talking about.
Teeny wee. Almost $5 each. x3.
Rebel single hook. Tiny fuzzy thing. Almost $3 each. x3.
Zebco 202 rod and reel. $14.
Watching my granddaughters fish is priceless.
Geez the price of lures. But I don't imagine trout would go after dough bait, would they?

Trout may go after dough, or some corn. Have both on hand. Your going to have bread for sammiches and corn for foil dinners anyway. Those wee craws should do the trick though.

One time my daughter's stringer of trout got taken when she left it to go fishing downstream. She was around 8 or 9 years old at the time and was mortified that someone would steal her trout. The day was saved by using a #20 treble hook and Zeke's Floating Corn Bait. Molded it around the hook so that it was a little larger than a salmon egg. We bounced them down each tin whistle at the upper bridge and she caught her limit in about 1/2 hour. Had a lot of good times at Roaring River. Came close to loosing my van with me in it during a flash flood down there also. :-0

A few years ago we were at Roaring River around noon this family came down to the river started eating. The dad and kids started fishing. All three were catching fish on every cast. I walked over by them to see what they were using. There by them was a box of velveeta cheese.II said to the dad it aint none of my business you do what you wont ,but if they catch you using velveeta you will get fined. They put it back in the coolerNow what you need to fish with is green or white or yellow/black or black marabue jigs 1/32 oz. if you cant cast that light of a lure put a split shot 18" above it heavy enough so you can cast it.No heaver line than 4 lb. 2 is better. You can get the jigs were you get the tags.If they are hitting it but you aint hooking them trim the feathers back on the jig a little.Jig it slow to fast tell you find out what works best that day,
Marabue aint how this is spelled and i aint going to look it up they will know what you need they are cheap get several colors see what works good luck.My fingers are tired I am going to bed.
