From what I've read, they fit right in. Just have to drill for the adjuster. That's what I hear, never done it though.

Been messing around with my basket case 024. Got it running! It is one UGLY saw, lol. Now I just have to get the oiler figured out, a clutch cover, couple bar nuts, and it'll be good to go. It is entirely too ugly to sell, lol. Might be my official loaner saw. Not sure. Anybody ever put an adjustable oiler into an 024/026 case that doesn't have the cut out for it? Looks like I can just drill/cut the area way for the adjustment screw and plop it in there.

The first pile of carcasses I got from the landscaper had an 024. Old devil made in West Germany. Ugly as hell and the only complete saw in the pile. Cleaned it up and sharpened the chain and out the door he went. Tuff little poop.

I just had home made roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, the last of Alan's carrots, salad, and rolls. I am as full as a tick,,,one of those big fat grey ones.

Who you all got today? I think the Panthers will win but I am pulling for the Broncos.

Dang! All I had was more of that grilled round steak and a bunch of veggies. I love roast beef when it's really tender and covered in brown gravy.

Not that I'm complaining about steak.....

We have chilli and tater skins on the menu for the game tonight. I always root for the NFC team unless the Seahawks are playing, so I'm going for the Panther's. This is probably only the third or fourth game I've seen all season after tonight.

It's the only football game I watch all year. I'm in it for the commercials, there just happens to be a game going in between them.
I know what you're thinking. I also don't like my coffee black either.

I only watch for the commercials as well. Actually, I'm also keeping an eye out for our friends that are down there watching the game. I hope they have good commercials this year......

Well, if that's what I do, I'll make sure to take a few pics to document for everybody. It looks like it should be quick and easy.

It's pretty.......... lol.

Yeah, they are tough little saws. As long as you keep plenty of flywheel side oil seals, pistons, and D10-WAT kits, you can keep a fleet of them running pretty easily. I think all my 1121 series saws are West Germany models. That makes sense because all of them came from Germany when I lived there, lol. This is the last of the 024/026 crankcases I have left though. My dad has one, I have three. Two of mine are ported. I figure I'll keep one stock.

My cousin brought a fairly
New cs450 echo for me to look at,
She mowed threw the limiters
With some kind of screwdriver
I'll post pics when I get it from the church.
Another victim of leaving gas in it for 2 years or more, then violated her
Warranty by mangling the limiters,
Trying to run the bad fuel, and bringing
It to the dealer with the tank full of
Bad and stinky fuel ......
:p can't blame the for not honoring
The warranty

Morning everybody! Haven't even gotten to work and I'm already getting phone calls from the boss. It's a short week, but looks like they'll be long days. Hope everybody has a great start to the week!
