Lots of big numbers fellas. A bit more common than I would've thought.
@Hedgerow knows some loggers in Birch Tree that may be a good resource for who/what you are looking for. Maybe shoot Matt a text...Hey guys got a question. Good friend of mine at wapapello has around 55-60 acres of old growth. Never been cut to his knowledge. Some good size timber in it. He is looking to get it select cut. Already has road and trail access. Does anyone know somebody over her that would be interested? Or any of you?

I don't know any of the loggers around here...Also, who logged that property where they do the Charity Cut for the Missionaries, @plcnut
Recommend asking around with neighbors. Flora was next door to a guy who had his son come over and state " worms are eating into your white oaks, need to be cut while they are worth anything" cheating thief! neighbors said, after the fact. In cahoots with a nearby sawmill. Nearby mill paid .40/board on all the white oak while clear off the stump went to stave makers on hwy44. $1/board for stave logs. She expressed her anger about hickory, pine and other species that Jenkins figured she'd not know the diff. If there's a Cafe that a few locals get together for breakfast drop in to ask.Hey guys got a question. Good friend of mine at wapapello has around 55-60 acres of old growth. He could check with a local Conservation Agent. I read in the Conservation magazine a few years back that they keep information on agency certified loggers that are on the up and upHey guys got a question.
