He is around yes. He’s had some health issues he’s been working thru. Seems to be doing a lot better as of late. I haven’t talked to him in a couple months. As far as saws I don’t think he has been porting any still though. He was teaching a couple of his boys the skills the last time I visited. So hopefully we’ll have another awol soon enough.

Carl Miller is in MO, but I haven't seen him on here in a long time. Not sure if he is still porting saws anymore. Kenneth has/had a saw or 2 from him; Matt did too at one time. Shaun Carr is in Iowa, Kevin Lavanway is in Michigan; both very good. There are more for sure. We have many to choose from.

I'd have 600 bucks bare minimum, just in shipping saws to get ported.

I was fine till I got my first ported saw. That darn Kevin did too damn good of a job is the "problem".

Any new saw I buy from now on, will just be from a porter. Saves me shipping a saw off. My luck the dang thing would get lost.
