I’ve heard of 400 + bushel corn grown on this type of system.. just not sure I want to invest the $2000 per acre to see if it’s all that and a bag of chips..

I just walked the corn field..

The experts were correct.. Not in trouble yet, but absolutely ready for another 2" of precip..

Plants have 8-9 rows of leaves on them some 6' others 4' depending on how much they drowned at germination.. But, the individual plants look very good. This is where I would turn the water on if I had it..

It's been a busy mostly indoors day for me. My shop has A.C. and has stayed right on 73F. Outdoors is 95F and tons of humidity. So, I repaired and serviced four saws: two Echo CS-355T, a Husky Rancher 455, and a fine running Stihl MS660 Magnum. These are all owned by friends who run a tree-service business. I also sharpened three chains and dressed four bars. I love this hobby and I'm bushed.
