I’ve used it several times in the past..

And YES, to the no bark..

Just don’t let it go much past the 4 hr mark..

Or it’ll take *s-word over... like a skunk at the garden party... works great with pork though, as long as ya don’t get all carried away an *s-word.

Something bout pork and fruit wood..
I cook burgers & steaks with cherry it seems to work pretty well.

@JimBear what time are you rolling through Thursday morning?

Maybe we can do breakfast in St Joe or Platte City?

Also if you are looking for a Hidden gem the humidor at Red X in Riverside has an incredible selection!

Weston does have a certain charm.

Most all of the fruit woods are good. Like Matt said though you can go too far with those. Nut trees are a bit more forgiving.

I’ll stick to my hickory
Just go out and cut some green branches when needed [emoji106]

Matt says pecan is good but don’t have that here

This sounds like a description of my family tree, lots of fruits/nuts & the nuts are a bit more forgiving than the fruits.

Do they still raise tobacco down around Weston & Holt ?

I had an aunt that used to live over in Holt & there was a tobacco barn over there. I remember seeing tobacco drying in there when I was a youngster.

I know there used to be a couple to tobacco barns around Weston but have no idea if they are still there or if they still grow tobacco.

About an inch cording to new guage. Got a truck20220323_094845.jpg licensed yesterday afternoon after paying for it in the morning. Intent is making 21 mile round trips to yard waste dump for compost materials, firewood and now asphalt chips-chunks to edge drive sides and stuff. More than enough till it starts getting mixed in the new surfacing stuff. Easier to load from same level or above, holds much more than 5 gallon buckets in back of Focus

Looks nice! You were due for a truck for a while. Should be a good one for you!
