NATO is 7.62 x 51.

For some reason I had 54 on the brain..
Thinking that was the NATO round.

What little I've read about it is there was an 8mm round and 7mm round variant. I think the 7mm was a Swedish made one. But the 7.62 or 7.62R were the Russian types. Further reading is that it's the Russian Mosin-Nagant rifle. My boss bought one. Said it's pretty decent. Apparently it's the longest produced rifle, too. From about 1891 to the mid 70's and apparently about 30 million made.
Interestingly on the show "Life below zero" the Hailstones use a Mosin-Nagant to hunt with.

Cabs are spendy, but gonna try it.

Was gonna get the LS, but the TYM loader reaches 11” higher.
