Hell YES.

A Lyman is 300 bucks
A Hawkeye is 900 to 1200

This thing is HD and you can record pics and videos with sound for future reference.

You focus by screwing mirror in and out but it's very easy .

I put it down a carb yesterday
And down spark plug hole.

My DIL is a nurse practitioner, she ordered her one to play with, said it's good as any scope she's seen .

45 bucks....

I just ordered one. I'd looked at the other 2 you mentioned as well, but where I'm just wanting to mess around and not using it for a business, they were too pricey for me to justify it. Thanks for the info Sir!

I bought a Teslong a couple of years ago.
I believe it was around $70 when I got it, but it is $100 now. It has about a 10ft cable with a .21" diameter camera.
Super handy.

This is a bore scope, not a trail camera, but we have trees, we just might have to drive to get to them. Lol

I ordered a rigid one and it was 70 bucks. I was going to go with the flexible one that was a bit cheaper, but I wondered how well it would get to where I wanted it. I mostly want to scope rifle barrels. Heck, for the price they go for, I may end up ordering the flexible one too, if I find the rigid one limits me. I'd still be at a third the price of the Lyman, even buying both of them.

I suspect this will be like a cordless drill, you don't realize how much you'll use one, till ya have one.

Wait till you put it down a carb or plug hole

Leave lense off and look in your ear.

Got a noise in dishwasher I think I'll see if I can look at grinder in it

It has exceptional clarity. I was amazed at how well you could see the rifling. Def not grainy or pixilated. I’d say well worth it. It’s better than the snap on one we had a few years back. And it was several hundred dollars.

Left the daughters house at 6:30am central time. She lives about an hour inside Eastern time.
Got home at 6pm.
The Van did an extraordinary job down and back. Mpg did better than expected with an overall average of 13.6 and a high of 15.0. My 89 F150 300/6 5 speed runs all over from 10.0 to 15.0 and the Van has a TON more power.
If I had to pull a serious load I know it would drop to around 6-8 mpg and a diesel would be the better choice. But for my usage, this thing works perfect.
:)

That sounds about the same that my 06 E350 extended with 5.4l got. Pickup, 01 F250 4x4, has the V10 and it loves the gas, 10-12 mpg. Glad that it sounds like the van is going to work well for you.

Maybe you lucked out and got some longer gears in that one?

Morning everyone! Gona have another day of splitting wood and getting it stacked up. It's already gorgeous out here and there's zero wind. I'm thankful for every day, but these types of days, I'm extra thankful for.

So under 2000 RPM at 70? Or real close to it?
Or no tach?
Yep, no tach.
Both of the trucks have 3:55 and run close to 2500 rpm at 70. However this one has the 4r100 and it's overdrive might be a little longer gearing in it. I'll have to compare specs.

Van overdrive is a 0.71 and Goldies truck is 0.79 overdrive. Close enough that I'll bet the Van is turning 2500 at 70.
But a tach is the next installment. Provided somebody makes a tach that will work with 10 cylinders.
