I'm gaining more confidence in this old potlikker.

Cut several 1/2 cookies at the local wood dump. Half arse dry walnut.

Only adjustment needed was the idle reduced a tad.

Also run the Olympyk 254 a bit.

I don't need one, but I'd like to hav a 150 or 250 of that era in a 4x4 longbed with a manual and a 300 I6. That would make a hell of a wood fetcher/pasture truck.

Yessir. Those things were pretty well bullet proof. Someone at Ford was having a good day when they put that combination together.
