Got plates on the project truck after work today. Just got back from driving it around for an hour, with my son.
Runs nice, shifts nice, rides good. Got to fix some other things to it. Brakes, trans cooler, muffler, wire it for pulling the camper, give the paint a good rub down. Just a good cleaning up now. Turning into a decent old girl.

finally got to a craftsman 2.1 ive had for couple years; says its a 2.1 but has auto oiler which works. just finished cleaning up the saw. it had likely never been cleaned. some of the cake was hard. no gaps anywhere except where moving parts are. doesn't look new but looks happier.
cleaned, filed, and gapped points, rebuilt carb, and installed new fuel lines and plugs. coil tested "open" but was able to get one from a helpful AS member. started this thing but it stutters at WOT. had this same problem with a C5 that was cured with a "new" coil. anything else yall can think of?

Put the coil in an oven at 200 degrees for a couple of hours.

I need to make a trip down south and stop at LaMar's. Best doughnuts around!! Dad and I always make a pit stop there and grab some doughnuts when we are visiting grandpa
