I don't have a problem with diesels. Actually I think they're a great engine. But I've never owned one and friends here have advised me not to get one. It wouldn't pay to have one for my useage. And I respect these friends opinions a great deal. While I am a trained mechanic (I'm ASE certified in everything except transmissions)Curious why you like these over a diesel?
I wouldn't take for my 05 Cummins

I'm not trained in diesel repair. I know enough about diesels to know I don't know enough.
Also, I'm a person that takes nothing into a shop for repairs. Nothing against shops, I just prefer to do everything myself. And I just enjoy doing repairs myself.
95 % of my usage would be just driving it to work occasionally, but it's primary purpose would be used to pulling a 14 foot flatbed trailer to the Stamp with at most a 2k load.
