A few weeks ago you guys were talking horse pulling. I mentioned my uncle and his horses. He never went west further than WI. About 10 years ago he won the Great Lakes National in Lansing. This isn't the same pull, but this is him and his horses Sampson and Tim

He said with the team he had in WI, they hooked up to 8500# and his horses jogged away with it like it wasn't even there

Those horses look like tanks. Impressive as hell. I'd go as far as to say down right frightening in appearance.

They were. He still has pulling horses, but not those 2. His health took a dive a couple years ago and hasn't been able to work them. He's 74 and goes to the woods every day with his logging crew, but doesn't do much anymore

I always wanted one of those.
He'd get an extra large saddle, and we'd rope bulls for sport..
I think I'd name him "Tiny"..

He's a 3rd generation logger. They always had horses growing up. I asked him one time about the intelligence of a pulling horse vs a riding horse and he just laughed and said they were so much smarter than an average horse that it was hard to compare. Much more personality

Hedge included? If so, what angles are you filing the top-strap for mileage - 15-20°?
Bout 20 or so. It's the underside that makes the most difference. Hold the file more vertical for more metal supporting the cutting edge and point.

The only ones I was ever around were like big, goofy dogs. So it would make sense you could train em to do bout anything.

Early November 1969 I was in the hospital at Camm Rahn Bay (China Beach) and the second timers having hepatitis were pushing around their IV drip with one hand and moping the floor with the other.

Having hepatitis required no alcohol for one year or it would reoccur.

Second timers were busted a pay grade and treated badly. Disobedience of orders.
