Good morning.
Going to Andy Dalton Shooting Range in a little while.
I needed to cut a beam this morning so I fired up Thomas's Super 2 to make sure all was still good. Some day he may even get to have it in his possession again. [emoji849]

I can pick it up whenever needed..

But I ain’t delivering it..

Tow Mas has to come get it... as hostage, it should be worth at least 3 good rounds of white oak..

I am fresh out. Everything I had is split and stacked. If I find some, I will put it aside for you. Just get the saw Kemosabe...

How about some elm or sweet gum instead?

Was heading into Home depot this evening looking for landscape timbers.
Nobody has any in the greater Spfd area.
On the way in the door I saw something that made my eyes open wide.
A Dewalt Zero turn mower. I kept looking for the 20 volt battery pack but it's actually got a gasoline engine.

This one of those things where my immediate reaction is, "this can't be real". Then I remember we are living in interesting times and nothing really surprises me anymore, so yeah, it could most definitely be real. But I too wonder about a backstory. I never would've though chainsaws and beaches had anything to do with one another.

Driftwood.

Really, really loaded with sand.

Same thing on the Mo. River. Lots of wood during spring rise floats down.

Don’t expect a chain to stay sharp Long. [emoji2960]

One would need carbide chain.

Wood floating down the Missouri and then the Mississippi rivers:

I did some research. The logs, trees and brush eventually ends up in south central Louisiana.

Over hundreds of years it formed ‘The Great Raft’ at the head of the Atchafalaya swamp. Fed into there when the Mississippi floods.

It’s a good read on Wikipedia. [emoji106]
